The Brazilian director Vellas joins the roster of Think Cattleya exclusive directors.

Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1982, Vellas currently lives in São Paulo, Brazil. He began his career as an art director on the creative teams of advertising agencies such as Ogilvy & Mather and DM9DDB. After a few years, having developed a growing interest in filmmaking, he left the agency in order to become a director. Today he has among his awards 6 Cannes Lions, 3 D&AD Pencils, 2 Clios, 5 FIAPS and 5 El Ojo, including a Grand Prix. He was invited as a juror for Craft Lions 2014.
