Alessandro Siani made his directorial debut with a brilliant romantic comedy in which the director also stars. In the film, Siani plays Antonio, a penniless young man who suddenly finds himself in the presence of Letizia (Sarah Felberbaum), a spoiled princess in search of popularity, with whom he inevitably falls in love. For Antonio, the only way to stay in the court is to follow the advice of the chamberlain Anastasio (Christian De Sica). The roles of mentor and mentee are however destined to turn when Anastasio, falling in love with the greengrocer Jessica (Serena Autieri), needs Antonio’s advice in order to mix in with the common people. And so begins a dual apprenticeship with unpredictable outcomes.
