‘Cosimo e Nicole’ wins the 2012 Perspectives Italy Award at the International Film Festival in Rome.

The film, by Francesco Amato with Riccardo Scamarcio and Clara Ponsot that won the Award for Best Feature Film in the section Perspectives Italy at the International Film Festival of Rome 2012, will come to cinemas 29 November.

“For the inspiring but never intrusive story, the essential screenplay able to avoid all clichés, the performances of the actors who, generous and full of nuances, allow Cosimo and Nicole of Francesco Amato to penetrate with amazing accuracy in that tangle of depth and superficiality, generosity and selfishness, cruelty and suffering that is youth, especially in these difficult times. The prize is awarded unanimously by the jury.” This is the explanation given by the  Perspectives Italy jury, formed by Babak Karimi, Anna Negri, Stefano Savona, Zhao Tao and headed by Francesco Bruni who awarded the prize to the film.
