Francesco Quadrelli

Francesco Quadrelli is a director born in La Spezia, he spends his adolescence between the small ports of the province and the garage where he plays the drums with his group. Attending the La Spezia underground scene, between photography and music he shoots the first video clips for local artists. In 2018 he graduated from the Luchino Visconti Civic School of Cinema in Milan and after working as a filmmaker in an advertising agency, he began his career as a director in 2020. His background as a drummer has greatly influenced his approach to editing: sound and rhythm distinguish his projects; the street-photography soul instead allowed him to make the most of locations, faces, and composition, capturing glances and moments in the best possible way. Now he loves directing commercials and works with various Italian production companies, having recently set foot abroad. In the meantime he follows emerging Italian and London artists on a photographic level, creating portraits and artworks. His projects have a punk approach and soul, he mixes different techniques and supports when he has the opportunity, always maintaining an elegant and delicate aesthetic. His natural habitats are the set, the rocks, and the Baracchetta di Lerici (SP).
