Davide Vicari is one of the most interesting young video clip directors of the Italian scene. Ligabue, Ghali, Nayt, Paky, Rondo, Capo Plaza and many others have relied on him for their video clips.
Davide is always able to find heterogeneous solutions with his mixed-media style full of effects. His main strength is the ability to create an all-round imagery and inscribe a narrative sub-text even in the most visual video clips.
In 2022, the series directed by Davide “2016: The year of trap” was released on Nove and Discovery+ . In the docuseries we see a mix of visual scenes shot in studio, interviews and a careful and intelligent use of animations: everything perfectly balanced.
