After graduating in architecture and acquiring experience as a theatre directer, Pietro Follini went into advertising as an art director in 1980. At the successful completion of his brilliant career for advertising agencies such as BBDO, TBWA, DDB, Leo Burnett and DMB & B, he made his directorial debut with a commercial in 1990. With his comic verve and stylistic attention, Follini creates increasingly important campaigns, earning himself numerous awards including the special mentions from the Art Director’s Club and a Lion at Cannes. His works range from comedy to action, from acting to stop-motion, creating memorable commercials for brands such as Renault Twingo, Aperol, Pioneer, VWPolo, ENI, Stream, RAI, Algida and Molinari. His most recent commercials have been created for Italian and international customers such as Toyota, McDonalds, Regione Calabria, Replay and Bertolli. With Think | Cattleya he directed two episodes of the association between Q8 and Blady&Roversi.
